Effective September 30, 2024, candidates seeking an invitation to apply for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) worker streams must now submit a Worker Expression of Interest (EOI). This new process is essential for those aiming to be considered for AAIP’s worker streams and upcoming draws.

Overview of the New Worker EOI Process:

To be eligible for selection, candidates will submit a Worker EOI that gathers detailed, self-declared information about their qualifications. Each EOI will be scored and ranked using the AAIP Worker EOI points grid, evaluating factors such as work experience, education, and other relevant criteria.

Qualified EOIs will enter the AAIP Worker Stream pool, where candidates may be selected based on their EOI scores, Alberta’s labor market needs, and the availability of AAIP nominations.

1. Self-Declared Information Collection:
